  2. I love the conference with John Sanchez,it was so creative and stimulating to be able to work hands on a given task.
The day was so full of activities that we needed an extra 8 hrs. to finish everything. Being able to work with, create,
share, and have fun with writing was fantastic. There are so many way of teaching and learning, outside of the traditional
box. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, mix with
inspiration, imagination, and the hope to accomplish something better.

  3. The demo by Lorry was very interesting, Social Studies should be more than just learning about facts and persons. It’s about our concern on world issues, communities, injustice, politics, laws, nature, war, and so on. It was refreshing to see a different outlook on a subject that must be challenging, not boring to death I give it *** 3 star’s.
Some change is needed, but on the over all, good.

  4. i actually have a colleague that would have really appreciated Lorraine’s demo…por lo q he oido de mis estudiantes, los cuales son SUS estudiantes, dicen q la clase es aburrida y monotona y siguen trayendo a colacion el maestro anterior. i would’ve really appreciated taking class with her!

  5. Lorraine, your demo was good! It was interesting and engaging. It was a little bit long though. I think you should’ve just used more time in the activity and less in your introduction. I do understand that you are very proud of what you do and that is great. You seem to be a really good History teacher. You really know how to integrate writing in your class.

  6. Today’ demo was interesting, Yolanda’s presentation on character development is very good. This is a different way to add detail to our writings. This can help students become aware when writing to give characters life, feeling and make them 3-D on paper. Really good!!!

  8. LeRoy’s writing demo was very interesting. It is a new way of getting students involved and stimulated in writing. There s so much you can do with vocabulary and grammar. Finally the writing process with the help of pictures, makes it easy for the students to keep a mental image constant, while writing. Most, if not all of our students are very visual. This method also helps in that writing, not only challenging, should be fun.

  9. Ramon I see you understand the meaning of breaking the walls of a classroom. The atmosphere in a classrooms just as important, even more than the lesson. Making the experience as comfortable, but keeping and maintaining control of group and development a must if you want to succeed should be first in our minds. Very good work, Ramon!!!

  12. Hoy desperte bien Boricua!
